The students worked alongside professional theatre lighting designers Kevin Fraser and former Central graduate and lighting designer, Zev Shoag. The students learned basic light maintenance and how to hang theatre lights safely. They also filled Arts and Culture SHSM elective requirements, and helped to store old lights by hanging them in a storage room.
Overall the drama and dance room has been improved by retiring some of the old 1960's lighting equipment, making the lights more energy efficient and creating a more flexible lighting grid.
