No Stone Left Alone
A small group of SDSS students partnered with the No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation to pay their respects to the veterans buried at Avondale cemetery. They worked with two grade 10 history classes, having them paint and place stones at the grave sites, as well as say the name of each veteran. Their work was shared through the video below at the school's Remembrance Day assemblies.
