Community Service

Students must complete 40 hours of community involvement while in high school as part of the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

Grade 12 students must submit their Community Involvement Hours by June 3rd (or sooner!!) for approval if they wish to graduate this year!

Download and print a copy of the community involvement form or pick up a paper copy in Student Services. Please hand in your completed community involvement sheet in Student Services.  If you have questions regarding an upcoming opportunity, please see your guidance counsellor.

PLEASE NOTE: The Ministry of Education has determined that students aged 14 years and older can count up to a maximum of 10 hours from paid employment towards their community involvement hours during the 2020-2021 school year.
 
In order to be granted these hours, students will be required to complete a reflection exercise indicating how their work contributed to the service for others.
