Our School

Stratford District Secondary School (SDSS), home of the Golden Bears, is a public high school located in Stratford, Ontario.

 

Opened in 2020, SDSS is part of the Avon Maitland District School Board. The school currently serves over 1,460 students in grades 9-12 and employs a staff of 140.

At SDSS, we prioritize creating a strong sense of belonging through membership and ownership among our students. We cultivate an environment that nurtures creativity and innovation, ensuring every student feels valued and empowered to take on new challenges. Alongside a wide-range of academic programs, the school offers a variety of clubs and teams. Our goal is to engage and inspire learners, helping them unlock their potential and become innovative, lifelong learners.

By fostering global competencies, we prepare our students for success beyond SDSS, equipping them with the skills and perspectives needed to thrive in an interconnected world.
